In many cases I would be working with historically sensative events that carry an extrodinary weight with them. The GORUCK brand is a salute to all Special Forces and Military branches alike. Our gear is taken into combat and so it can't risk a mistake, same went my attitude towards the branding.

Much of my work as the Marketing Designer/Graphic Designer is to maintain the brand image across the board. Creating effective visuals for Digital use, Print signage, and designing the GORUCK Challenge Patches. In addition I was responsible for laying out the "Weekly Rucking Newsletter" using the MailChimp platform.

GORUCK Challenges can be summed up as such, "the greatest test of mental and physical endurance." These events honor a historical event typically involving the US Military. The Challenges are catagorized in 3 different tiers: LIGHT, TOUGH, HEAVY. Each more difficult than the previous, the difficulty helps participants understand what went on in those historic moments. 

These 2"x3" patchs are uniquely created based on the historic events that took place. The events pay homage to the brave men and women who lost their lives. The event patches are never sold, only earned.
